GeoTrust fully authenticates your organization and your second level domain to quickly issue your certificate. GeoTrust Wildcard SSL Certificates can secure multiple fully qualified domains if they share the same second level domain name and reside on the same physical server. For example, a wildcard certificate issued to “*.yourdomain.com” can secure the following sites:

| With a GeoTrust® Multi-Domain certificate, you can add, edit, or delete up to 25 domain* names over the lifetime of the certificate. Designed for Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft Communications Servers, this Unified Communications Certificate is also ideal for shared hosting environments, QA testing environments, and small businesses with multiple business applications to secure on a single server. Using SAN Certificate client can have an additional benefit over Wildcard certificate where one single domain was the contraint (*.yourdomain.com), they can now have (*.*) means any subdomain and any domain but on one single Physical Webserver, it works on single IP (Shared) as well. For the domains the organisation name should be same (all the domains should belong to one single organisation only)
